Marketing Questions
Prepare the answers in a word processor with the number and question typed before each answer.  Then post only one document with the two chapter questions and answers listed first and then the two Internet exercises (IEs) included afterwards. Please review your word usage, and if possible, use a spell checker before attaching the document to the Dropbox. 
Chapter 7 Question: Number 5 at the end of Chapter 7 
5. Describe the situations that would lead to the use of the three different buying processes for a particular product - lightweight bumpers for a pickup truck. 
Chapter 8 Question: Number 20 at the end of Chapter 8 
20. A marketing manager is considering opportunities to export her firm- current consumer products to several different countries. She is interested in getting secondary data that will help her narrow down choices to countries that offer the best potential. The manager then plans to do more detailed primary research with consumers in those markets. What suggestions would you give her about how to proceed?

Go to the BuyerZone Website (www.buyerzone.com). What types of products could be purchased by requesting a free quote on this site? From the home page, click "Furniture>Chairs>Chair Buyer's guide," then look through this Buyer's Guide. Look at the Buyer's Guides for other products as well. What can be learned about buying different products from BuyerZone.com? For a marketing manager targeting smaller businesses, how could this site be useful? 
Chapter 8 Internet Exercise # 4-2 (216) 
Assume that your boss has asked you to do a customer satisfaction survey. As part of a situation analysis, you want to get ideas about what others have done in this area before you try preparing one of your own. Go to the Google search engine (www.google.com) and search for "customer satisfaction survey" (include the quote marks). Open and explore several of the websites identified. Now answer the following questions: Which one did you find the most helpful in surveying customer satisfaction? What did it do that was helpful? How could it be improved? 
As in all assignments, 1. each question must be included before each answer, 2. answers need to be thorough with at least 200 words, have depth, and show critical thinking that contribute to knowledge and understanding, and 3. answers should relate to the weekly assigned lessons as much as is possible and/or to clear marketing principles with references and citations listed (INCLUDING IN THE IEs). 
GRADING CRITERIA. Overall quality (O=x), Breath (B=x), Depth (D=x), Application/Synthesis (A=x), References/Citations (C= ok or minus x pts). ["x" = number of points.]
