Describe and discuss the theory you believe is most useful for explaining and predicting emotions.  How do the findings of various research studies presented in the course material support your selected theory? Explain.  Also, use your own examples, as appropriate, to support your discussion.

Over the years various psychologists offered different explanations for this interplay.  Use this week's textbook and lecture material to familiarize yourself with the three major theories of emotion offered by:  (1) James and Lange; (2) Cannon and Bard; and (3) Schacter and Singer.
