"Responding to Crisis at School” (UCLA)

The Center for Mental Health in (UCLA) has written a comprehensive plan for responding to a crisis in your school.  Since part of this program is looking at the crisis management plan in your own schools, this resource will be beneficial to you in looking at your own plan.  As you look at the many parts of this crisis plan, how does your school measure up?  What would you need to change or add if you were to become the school executive there?

After viewing this short video, post your reflection as to what Penn Hills School District might do that would improve their emergency plan.

Your initial responses are due by 11:55 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday and should be between 200-250 words. The initial posting should be a statement of your point of view on the question, supported by the required readings.
