MATH 111 Week 5 Discussion 1 | Assignment Help | Embry Riddle Aeronautical University
Week
5 - Discussion: Midterm Exam Study Hall
Instructions
Join
your peers in the discussion to create a virtual study hall. This is a graded
discussion. Read and follow these steps very carefully:
- Your
instructor will begin this discussion by posting a problem or question
related to the material that has been studied.
- Once
your instructor has posted the beginning question then whoever gets the
answer first will reply to that post and answer the question.
- After
you have posted your answer, go all the way up to the top, reply to
the main discussion by posting a different question (that comes
from the course textbook). Include the textbook section and exercise
number.
- Another
student will answer your question then it rotates until everyone has
posted at least one question and has replied at least one time. Replying
with an alternative solution path is encouraged.
This
is your opportunity to resolve any of those lingering questions about the
concepts and methods of solving problems. Ask questions that you would if you
were in a face-to-face classroom. Keep in mind that if you are questioning an
unclear concept or topic about a problem, chances are some of your peers are
too. Post your questions early enough in the module so others can benefit from
the questions and the resolutions posted by your instructor and peers.
In
Preparatio
Study
the chapters in your textbook covered in Modules 1 through 4. Remember to
review the videos, tutorials, and MML support - especially your Study Plan. All
of them are valuable study tools.
Go
to MyLab and Mastering menu item and then Open MyLab
& Mastering. Navigate to the Study Plan. Work all of the exercises
selected based on your previous homework and quiz performance. Use the tools
provided in MML, including "Ask Your Instructor."
In
addition to the resources already mentioned, use this discussion area as a
resource for study.
Post
& Discuss
Submit
your initial post and look over your classmates’ posts for additional review.
Offer help to someone who is stuck. After you have completed this discussion,
take the exam. Do not return to the discussion after you have taken the exam.
Review
the Discussion Rubric for detailed grading information.
