Week 13 Compare/Contrast Essay Planning Assignment

This week, you will begin work on your compare/contrast essay. Remember that the first stage in the writing process is to plan your essay. To do that, the first thing you want to do is review the assignment itself and the rubric that will be used to grade the assignment, both of which are below.

Next, you want to select your topic for this assignment. Remember that you will need to choose your topic from a list of topics. This list (and the sources that you can use to support your argument) are available through Wilmington University's library, which means you want to make sure you are logged into your WilmU accounts before clicking the link below.

Once you've reviewed the assignment and selected a topic, you can complete the planning document below. Because this essay is a little different from the ones you've written so far, the planning document will look a little different as well. You'll see that you have two options for completing the outline of the body section and that you need to list two sources you plan to use from the Topics and Sources page.

Once you've finished filling in the planning document (including the references), submit it to this assignment.
