This is happening as the service offerings of cloud technology vendors such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud and Microsoft Azure, in particular, are constantly changing. Some healthcare organizations are hesitant to transition to a cloud-based infrastructure and still maintain patient privacy and HIPAA safeguards.

The purpose of this assignment is to gain an understanding of an organization's transition from simple data storage to a cloud infrastructure.
