From the e-Activity, analyze the important principles and practices that are driving the current trends in software development that you researched.
In Tom Altman- article titled “current trends in software development” discuss the increased use of software development trends, mobility app progression, and evolution of operating systems.
Types of technological advancement occur in software development trends such the following:
•         Retinal recognition (eliminate language barriers)
•         Cloud storage and (stores, adds, uploads, downloads, retrieves, data transmission)
•         iPads, Androids, tablets, laptops (use of mobility/portable devices)
From the e-Activity and the knowledge gained from Chapter 14 of the text, predict key trends that you believe will be popular in the future. Provide a rationale for your response.
I believe both mobile and wireless technologies will continue to produce technological advancements due to speed and portability features, as well as advanced operating systems.
Mobile computing devices refers to the evolution of internet or program operations access via portable devices rather than a hardwired connection. There are two common types of mobile systems; mobile devices and mobile operating systems.
Wireless networks refers to how global economic activity takes place over a span of 3G and 4G networks. Wireless connections use bandwidth for mobile devices that operate off of one or several networks.
Gathered, the knowledge reviewed in Chapter 14, I predict mobile and wireless technologies, as well as electronic storage devices and body technology ops- will advance in the tech world. In addition, I think robotic use of software development will become more in use over the next few decades (minimizing human contact). Finally, one touch pay/pre-pay devices with encrypted mobility features are and will continue to advance the way we do business.
