Defining A Compensation Strategy

          a. List all components of total compensation (salary and benefits) you receive from your employer. 

Compare your listing with someone else's listing and discuss the differences and/or similarities.

 For example, my organization provides bonuses to all employees like may other organizations do. However, my organization not provide merit pay. This compensation strategy does not incent or reward team performance. This is a problem because team collaboration and performance is a core element of our corporate strategy. 

        b. Using The Pay Model (Exhibit 1.5 below)

             1. What do you think are the Compensation Objectives in your organization?

             2. What specific changes do you suggest to better align the compensation objectives to the organizational strategy ?
