Unit 8: Discussion
In this unit, you
learn many functionalities in Microsoft Access. Choose any functionality that
you learn in this unit, and propose an application in your daily life or an
imaginary application that can utilize the functionality. Explain in detail how
the application can utilize the functionality that you choose. Feel free to
bring in your own personal experience, as long as it is a relevant, concrete,
interesting, or provocative example from your own experience, on which you can
write with confidence.
Peer Response Posting
Respond to a peer’s
posting. Choose a peer’s posting, respond with your view or thought. It could
be that you like how the function is used in the proposed application, but some
other aspects of the functionality may be used differently to enhance the
application. Or it may be possible that you don’t agree how the functionality
is used in the proposed application in a certain way. Whether you agree or
disagree, you must provide a meaningful justification. A simple response of “I
agree” or “I do not agree” without giving any reason or justification is not
sufficient.
Directions
Post count: One initial post and
one peer response post are required.
Word count: A post should be
100-300 words.
Content: Be substantial so
that your post can generate additional thoughts, discussions, concepts, etc.
Use your own words, no plagiarizing. You may copy and paste a sentence or two
from another site (with quotes and appropriate attribution) to support your
work, but in general these posts must be your own writing. Additionally, for a
peer response post, be sure to provide meaningful justification. A simple
response of “I agree” or “I do not agree” without giving any reason or
justification is not sufficient.
English Syntax: Proper use of
English and free of typographical errors and grammatical mistakes.
