Instructions

1.   Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade.

2.   Download and review the file, Finishing the Race Devotion.

a.    Reflect on its content, including the Scripture passage. 

3.   After reading the devotional and in a minimum 200-word response,

4.   discuss how the ideas expressed in the devotion might be relevant in your own life.  Answer the following questions in your paper:

a.    What is life’s ultimate purpose – does life have an eternal purpose? 

b.    Are we created in the image of God, or are we simply a collection of atoms, living instinctively on a plane little higher than that of animals? 

c.    How important is it to be a “finisher”? 

d.   What kind of legacy would you like to leave for future generations?

e.    What are the ultimate goals (personal, spiritual, job, etc.) for your life?

5.   Check your paper for grammatical errors before you submit the assignment. 

6.   When you’ve completed your assignment, save a copy for yourself and

7.   submit a copy to your instructor using the Assignment submission folder

8.    by the end of the workshop.
