Epidemiology (specifically, the population approach) contrasts with clinical medicine's concern with the individual. In your initial post, address the following:

·         Start by introducing yourself to your peers. Include why you are taking this class and what (if any) experience you have related to this field.

·         Describe how your selected video demonstrates the balance between the wider field of epidemiology and health care's focus on the individual.

After you have posted your initial response, read through the threads of your peers. Respond to at least two peers and describe how they helped you further your understanding of the field of epidemiology. In addition, make connections between your peer's threads and your career goals. Finally, make connections between the video you chose and your peers' videos. What can you add to the conversation about the tensions present in the videos?
