The goal of advertising may be seen as creating the compulsionto purchase a product. Is this a problem that should somehow becontrolled/regulated? Or, rather, is the company simply offeringinformation to the consumer so that they can freely choose whetherto make a purchase? What sort of ethical constraints areappropriate to put on advertisers, and for what reasons?
